Liquid Sunshine V. Thanks, Mike, for fishing up the medicine bottle growler of this and bringing it back for us to try. Pours a murky bright golden amber with a light gray rim. Sweet honey/floral nose. Creamy medium body. Lemon and honey mid-palate.

Mildly carbonated, tangerine colored brew. Easy amber malt aroma with some herbalness and yeastiness. Enticing and intriguing. Prominent breadiness with yeasty sourness on finish. The body ends a bit syrupy and the residual sugars clang with the yeast.

Tap; mid to deep amber and cloudy; good balance of sweet and spice in the aroma; spice resonates all over the palate; grabbed their medicine bottle full of the beverage (their version of a growler) to share with Big J. Definitely the best beer on tap at the moment. (#12)

7/27/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is peppery, with a very slightly plasticy phenolic and candilike sweetness from banana fruit. Appearance is hazy copper with a well maintained white head and good lacing. Flavor is sweet citrus with a tangy finish and low bittering. Mouthfeel has a sour tang bite forward, medium bodied with medium carb texture. Overall, complex, yet easy drinking if you’re good with acidic beers.

Yeasty aromas of spice and banana. Pours a cloudy amber with decent head retention. Sweet yeasty spice with some sweeter dark malts. Banana, clove, pepper, candy. A touch of alcohol in the finish.

Fruity, Belgian spice nose, showcasing the beauty and magic of the yeast strain. Earthy with some biscuity malts and a light bit of candi sugar. Floral throughout and very drinkable, a little on the tame side, but still well done.
