Deep amber color with a nice head. Had a deep hops aroma with a good sweet malt balance. Liked the flavors with s the earth spices and aroma notes. This was a decent beer . This will be a contender for the AHA awards at the GABF.

9/22/07 On draught at AHA even at Elysian. Aroma is very grassy hops forward with a decent sweet malt balance. Appearance is a hazy gold with a low white head. Flavor is super earthy and resiny. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and starchy. Overall, this was just too funky and earthy; it was too difficult too drink and definitely needs to age a bit so the flavors can mellow and merge a bit.
