On tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy apricot with a lacy white head. Spicy banana nose. Medium body, light carbonation. Sweet banana nut taste with a spicy (cloves) finish. This really seems to be spot on.

Tap; very floral aroma and opaque yellow in color served w/ a lemon; definitely could stand alone; worth the purchase. (#21)

Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy medium coppery amber. Thin, short-lived white head. Beautiful fresh banana nose. It’s almost cloying, but not quite. Gorgeous creamy light body with banana and clove mid-palate right where they should be. Very straight down the line interpretation of a hef, but wonderfully executed.

Cloudy yellow, no head. Aroma is light and fruity with hints of clove, wheat, and citrus. Wheat up front followed by light banana and bubblegum. Finishes a little tart and is pleasantly drinkable.

A spicy bite tingles the nose, crisp on the palate with some wheaty qualities that are tame at first and then really begin to come through in the tail. Light bodied with some banana hints and coriander. Not overly impressive, but not bad either.

(Draft: Powerhouse Restaurant & Brewery in Puyallup, WA) Banana and sweet bubble gum lead the way in the spicy nose of what so far seems to be a quality hefeweizen. Unfortunately, the flavor can’t follow through on the promising aroma. Banana and bubble gum are also present in the flavor, but the wheat malts are very prominent, rendering the other flavors less of a factor. The body is pretty light in general, but the finish tends to be a bit thin. Light golden color and fully cloudy. The white head leaves a large swath of dense lace on the glass as it settles to a thin ring.
