This is pretty much a standard lager with nothing at all special about it. Slightly bitter sweet and low on alcohol, so there are more alcoholic things that you can buy for the same price, which taste equally bad as this little beer. I think he could be right. This beer is widely available over here and is part of the infamous 6 cans for €7 set. The other beers in this category are Bavaria, Tuborg and Dutch Gold. I think this beer is easily the best of that group and much nicer than most widely available lagers. Still, it’s hardly amazing to taste but does use considerably more hops than its contemporaries.
