Coffee caramel aroma with a spicy note. Low carbonated and rather sweet coffee caramel flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short aftertaste. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, dark yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy bitter beef stew flavour has a mild medicinal note up front with a mildly fruity aftertaste. Medium body. It’s like smelling a whole meal!

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Knut Albert (below) speculates that this beer is possibly brewed for the Irish market. I think he could be right. This beer is widely available over here and is part of the infamous 6 cans for €7 set. The other beers in this category are Bavaria, Tuborg and Dutch Gold. I think this beer is easily the best of that group and much nicer than most widely available lagers. Still, it’s hardly amazing to taste but does use considerably more hops than its contemporaries. Good beer fir its price. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Light, reasonably bitter, with a bit of a metallic twang. Its one of the better cheap lagers around, but it seems to give me a headache afterwards... KimJohansen (7149), Copenhagen V, Denmark
