Draft @ the AZ Strong Beer Fest Pours a dark brown color with a small light tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, light earthy hops, and faint chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt and chocolate. Medium to full body. Slightly dry. I will have to get up to Prescott some day and try the others. A good beer.

Easily Best-in-Show at this year’s AZ Strong Beer Festival!!! Utterly delicious...if you can remember 1 beer out of 25-30 you’ve sampled, it says something!!! Silky texture, nestle quick nose, bold S’Mores flavors (chocolate, smoke, cinnamon, and sweet marshmallow), and solid drinkability. Must travel to Prescott more often!!!

Sample @ 6th Annual Strong Beer Festival. Mesa, Az
Had a chocolate powder aroma. Black body with tan head. A rich creamy chocolate texure for the body. Smooth easy drinkable brew.

Black with a big creamy head and lacing. Big roasty malt aroma. Flavor is thick roasted sweet malt, chocolate with a sweet light alcohol finish. Very good!

GABF 2005: Nearly opaque with reddish highlights and a full creamy head. The aroma displays a heavy smoke and roasted tone with additional plum, raisin, molasses and earthy esters. The taste has a nice sharp bitterness with a developed fruity and sweet malt balance. The finish is smoky and dry. The mouthfeel is unique and wonderful, sticky and lush yet biting and sharp as well. This is very good and I like it, a bit different from many big Impy’s.
