SilkTork (3778), Rochester, Kent, England May 15, 2008 500ml bottle from Prague Tesco. Dark strong lager. Black bread malty - licorice, fennel seed, aniseed, alcohol. Pleasant enough. Lingering malty sweetness in the finish. Christmas pudding with sugar.OK, but too sweet and one dimensional.

Strong, sweet - very sweet.
Some warming alcohol, some spices. Not hops to balance this, it gets too heavy and cloying. KimJohansen (2302), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 12, 2008 Red brown with medium beige head. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel, choclate, plums and prunes. Well balanced with warming alcohol in the end. yespr (5348), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber/brown with a lacing tan head.
