330ml Bottle: Aroma of diacetyl, malts, and some lager yeast. Aroma is very buttery. Poured amber in color with a small, creamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Slightly cloudy. Sparkling. Many tiny particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium bitter. Tastes of diacetyl, malts, and some nuts. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Diacetly finish. Pretty gross. 7.5%ABV is hidden throughout.

0.5 bottle. Pale amber colour, pretty head, average carbonation. Fruity smell, light bittersweet taste, sweet-alcoholic aroma, bitter finish beside a medium body. Interesting, but there are better ones.

Pours a four finger cream head that fades quickly, leaving some lace. Crystal clear light amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Light malty nose. Flavor is sweet malty caramel with hops way in background. Good price at $2.79 for a 500ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT

Bottle from BOM. Pours a golden light copper. Aroma is mostly sweet grainy malt. Taste reminds me of caramel coated popcorn. Don’t know if this one is past its prime or what, the finish was a biting metallic and corn. I’m usually a fan of Maibock’s but I did not like this one.

Poured from bottle into Summit Pint glass. Clear golden amber-blonde with thin white head. Some bubbly lacing lines that rise and fall. Aroma of fruity and bready malts with a strong noble hop spicy kick. Some alcohol is noticeable as well. Interesting mix of of semi-sweet fruit malts (peach, apple, pear, orange) and a very dry, spicy and peppery hop bite. Moderate carbonation, smooth sweet body that abruptly turns very dry at the finish. Pretty strong Maibock overall in terms of malts, hops and alcohol - not that I’m complaining.
