Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

I love hefes but i this one (which i had as the Konig Ludwig) disappointed me. I love Paulaner, like Franziskaner and even enjoy Erdinger, but this one did nothing for me. 1.5 sounds about right to me

A surprise 6 pack at the rip and run. Nose of gentle grain and hop must be puled from both the bottle and tall glass. A semi-cloudy yellow with a dense white head that settles to film. Body is medium minus. Legs are droopy and merge back to head fast. Sweet Rounded malts gently greet the palate. Undertones of hops shrouded in malts calmly proceed for finish. In short this is one fantastic wheat beer. The nose could be a bit stronger but the reserve of it is also quite appealing.

A wonderful beer. A bright yellow golden pour with a nice head. Aroma of grainy hops and mild malts. Falvourful beer and notes of wheat, corn, grassy flavour and smoothness throughout. Overall, a wonderful german beer.

Excellent aroma, unfortunately quite a dull appearance but what’s inside that’s important, great flavor and also well priced. A beer to recomment.

I cant resist this stuff and almost all ways end up getting it every time I see it. It smells banana like a typical hefeweizen and it is one of my favorites. I guess this is the same stuff as Konig Ludwig. Nice and cloudy. Very refreshing.
