Pale body, foamy head and a watery palate and flavour - and this was the bottled version. Not a great beer, but still ok for a warm summer day, but if theres something else behind the bar that takes your fancy - pass this over. blutt59 (2096), Dallas, Texas, USA

Banana taste as well. However, the taste seems watered down. This beer has nowhere near the taste kick that most Hefeweisens do. It’s too bland for a Hefeweisen, almost like it’s trying to lean toward the taste of a pale lager. Slightly tart finish, almost like Smarties candy. dtripp21 (11), USA

Pours a very hazy, dirty orange color with a nice thick head that does settle down kind of quickly. Aroma isn’t bad with yeast, bananas, vanilla, cloves. Much of the same flavor with quite a bit of yeast and a citrusy, vanilla, wheaty flavor. As the case with many hefe’s I’ve had before the finish is rather bland leaving me wanting a little more. Perhaps a touch more spice would do the trick. Still it’s pretty good and definitely a refreshing beer for a warm day. drewbeerme (2272), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Pours a shady gold with a head that vanishes quick. Hard to tell if its filtered or unfiltered. Aroma of wheat malt, citris and bread. Smooth and sweet it went down well. Finish is short and also sweet. Is there any better beer on a 90 degree day?
