Prinzregent Luitpold Weissbier Hell

pours a hazy yellow with a good amount of sediment, a small white head, and some lacing. smell of wheat, some citrus, and a little spice. taste is creamy, banana, yeast, a touch of spice, and some citrus, ends a little on the creamy side.

25.09.2009, 0,5l bottle as König Ludwig Weissbier from beerangel.de. Golden yelloz colour.Hazy with a white forever lasting head. Aroma is wheat malt with citrus and banana. There is also yeast and bitterhops. Aftertaste is smoorth and a little sweet.

500 ml bottle (as König Ludwig Weissbier). Enjoyed on the terrace in the front garden on a beautiful sunny day. Hazy light golden colour with small white fully lasting frothy head, good lacing. Banana wheaty dough yeasty aromas and flavour, some lemon, some spice. Moderately sweet ending weakly bitter and slightly dry. Lively crisp carbonation. Very enjoyable "in the sun" summer beer.

Nice fruity character. Sweetness works great. A fantastic beer that has only one problem. It would not really stand out in a crowd.

On tap at olbaren in Copenhagen. Very pleasant weiss beer, cloudy yellowing color with typical german nose with a nice sweet taste.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow beer with big head. Good looking. Slight banana aroma. Likewise with taste. Not as sweet as most Hefeweizen’s I’ve tasted. Little bitterness but a nice one for a hot summer day.

Nice aroma of fruits (banana, apple), spice, yeast. Taste is sweet and malty with hints of fruits. Very light body and semi-dry finish. Not my type of hefe-weizen.
