Sweet aroma with yeast and banana. Sweet flavor with banana and honey. A little too much carbonation and a dry finish. A good beer, but there are better ones out there. djd07 (733), Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 11, 2008 On tap as König Ludwig Weissbier. Very refreshing with light notes of citrus, banana and a bit of bubblegum and pepper. Classic flavours, but not overpowering or sickeningly yeasty like a lot of similar beers. A bit watery but highly drinkable. A near-perfect session Weizen.
