Nov 14, 2007 pours an awesome cloudy neon yellow with a nice two finger fluffy bubbly white head. aroma is wheat with banana, clove, and lemon. has a medium body with descent lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger. has a thick full mouth-feel, a very good Bavarian style Weiss.

Golden cloudy coulor, very foamy thick head, WOW very nice one perfect balance, of banana, citrus, yeast, perfect smell, very refreshing.

Nov 10, 2007 My favorite weiss beer. Simple but the perfect blend of aroma and flavor. Not the most complex weiss beers but certainly a tremndous brew with strong flavors.

Nov 2, 2007 Pint at the Abbot on the Hill. Cloudy burnished gold under a frothy white head. Typical wheat beer aroma of banana and clove. Aroma is carried through into the taste. Nicely balanced and refreshing. One to have again.

Oct 25, 2007 Sampled at the Odds and Ends Tasting II on 10/19/07: This brew is a hazy yellowish color with a medium and foamy white head that diminshes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, clove and fruit. Light-bodied with sweet grainy malt and honey flavors offset by mild spices and hops. The finish is yeasty with a light spice finish. Above average overall.

Oct 21, 2007 Sampled as Konig Ludwig @ GDBTF. pours a cloudy amber with good, retained head. Nose of straw, light citrus. Peppery on the palate, smooth body, cloves towards the yeasty finish. An interesting take on the style.

Oct 19, 2007 Updated: Oct 19, 2008Bottle Konig Ludwig. Pours cloudy with a white head. Flavor is slightly less banana than many hefes, but more spiciness. This is the beer that turned my Fiancee on to beer beyond Miller Lite. It is flavorful enough for me to enjoy with her.

Oct 16, 2007 Single 11.2 oz bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Expiration on back of bottle says 29 APR 2008. Sweet. German beer to the rescue please! One odd note, the bottle is embossed with "Warsteiner Premium Qualitat aus Deutschland". Pours a cloudy gold color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast and malt. Taste is all about the hefeweizen, a touch of wheat and banana like qualities. Nice beer.
