Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, clove and fruit. Light-bodied with sweet grainy malt and honey flavors offset by mild spices and hops. Flavor is slightly less banana than many hefes, but more spiciness. This is the beer that turned my Fiancee on to beer beyond Miller Lite. Expiration on back of bottle says 29 APR 2008. Sweet. German beer to the rescue please! One odd note, the bottle is embossed with "Warsteiner Premium Qualitat aus Deutschland". Pours a cloudy gold color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast and malt. Taste is all about the hefeweizen, a touch of wheat and banana like qualities. Nice beer.
