Likewise with taste. Not as sweet as most Hefeweizen’s I’ve tasted. Little bitterness but a nice one for a hot summer day. mixos (50), Greece

Taste is sweet and malty with hints of fruits. Very light body and semi-dry finish. Not my type of hefe-weizen. hogan873 (324), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Cloudy amber body with a soapy white head. Banana, bread, spice, and a touch of citrus make up the engaging aroma. Mild and creamy on the palate with decent carbonation. Citrus entry fades to a nice spicy finish with banana and clove. Very good hefeweizen. zakkbironia (83), Athens, Greece

First of all you have to know that drinking a good weissbier in a 1lt glass is perhaps one of the best feelings for a good beer fan. This one is not the best but surely satisfying. Hazy yellow color with thick white head. Honey and banana taste but not strong enough I believe. There sure are better ones. BlondeGrim (21), Netherlands

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 27, 2009 While at Taco Mac (Perimeter) waiting for the 5 o’clock tapping of a firkin of Duck-Rabbit Porter with Cherries, I thought I’d warm-up with a nice, crisp hefe.
Appearance: Pours out a tremendously cloudy, dull golden-hued body with a smallish, white head. Light lacing on the way down.
Smell: Mild, vaguely sweetness malt nose with touches of grainy wheat bread and lesser, trivial notes of banana and clove.
Taste: Lightly bready, grainy maltiness with some moderate traces of wheat and a medium-low amount of sweetness. Subtle tastes of banana and cloves. Soft, faintly tart touch of yeastiness. Distant, mildly spicy hop character with a light bitterness. Finishes semi-dry with a reasonable amount of carbonated crispness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: A crisp, thirst-quenching, pleasant hefeweizen that makes for decent summertime refreshment or for a good prelude to a cherry-packed porter. Spab (258), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
