Prinzregent Luitpold Weissbier Hell

Rather good weizen beer. Tasted well.

Bottle from HEB. Label is Konig Ludwig Weissbier and has a Warsteiner bottle (embossed on the glass bottle). Cloudy amber-yellow beer with decent white head. Smells of dry yeast and slight spice. Nice sweet mix of gluten, spice, and faint banana. Very smooth. Nice combination.

bottle(as Konig Ludwig). I liked this from first sip, and really loved the flavor left in the mouth after drinking. It poured a thicker head than many weiss I have had and thought the mix of spice, wheat, and fruit was excellent.

Pours a cloudy amber color with a thick white head and fruity aroma-orange, babana. Taste is wrapped up with fruits and yeast with a minimal bitter bite at teh end.

5.5% a/v 50cl Bottle. (As Konig Ludwig Weissbier) Pours cloudy bronze colour with a frothy white head. The nose is of spice, caramel and fruit. Tastes banana and orange with some clovish aftertaste. Pretty good white.

Bottle. ( as könig ludwig weissbier hell) Golden / orange colour with a white head. Aroma is orange, banana, citrus. flavour is orange, banana, citrus, spices. OK beer.

A mid-par hefe. Aroma of banana and yeast. Pour was a disappointing flat cloudy orange with no head whatsoever. Nice bitey yeast/wheat flavor. A little citrus floating around in the aftertaste along with some bitterness in the end. Medium to high carbonation with no aftertaste. Kind of a thicker mouthfeel that I would have expected.

On Tap. Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a small but lasting white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of yeast, wheat, citrus, banana, and light cloves. Taste is the same as aroma and slightly spicy. Medium creamy mouthfeel with a mild bitterness. Good for a hot Summer day.
