Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

cloudy and pale gold. foamy head and decent mouthfeel (medium body) . thin bubbles that dissapear and leave their pleasant banana and spice taste. butter and scotch pronounced flavors that are not overdone. mild alcohol notes that altogeather produce a pleasant experience that you can just sit back and enjoy. i’m having a little chocolate and sweet fare seems ideal!

Brown bottle, bottled as König Ludwig Weißbier, 50 cl, best before 25.09.2007, savoured on February 5 2007; eye: golden yellow, lightly hazy, tiny beige head is rather elusive, no effervescence; nose: yeast, white bread, spices, citrus, banana; mouth: refreshing, fizzy, banana, wheat, finale in yeast, medium body, lightly stale, no bitterness, fizzyness makes it seem like peppery FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 50 cl, embouteillée sour le nom de König Ludwig Weißbier, meilleure avant 25.09.2007, savourée le 6 février 2007; oeil : jaune dorée, légèrement voilée, petite mousse beige plutôt fugace, pas d’effervescence; nez : levure, pain blanc, épices, citron, banane; bouche : rafraîchissante, pétillante, banane, froment, finale en levure, corps moyen, légèrement éventée, pas d’amertume, pétillement la fait paraître légèrement poivrée

Bottle. Labeled in Florida as Konig Ludwig Wiess. Cloudy gold color, small white head with carbonation. Pleasant wheat aroma with citris and butterscotch. Light and juicy palate, tastes good on the tongue. Flavorful, thirst quencing and slightly sweet. You can certainly taste lemon. Excellent finish, no bitterness at all. Another German masterpiece, will make you cheer.

50 cl bottle sold as König Ludwig Weissbier here. Looks really good with an orange-yellow colour with cloudiness. Its opaque though, you cant see your finers on the other side of the mug I used. Standard hefe, but its hard to get better around here for this style. citrus smell and taste. aftertaste goes from light to bitter. A good example for this style.

Clowdy yellow colour, with a standard wheat nose, and a typical wheat flavour.

Very citrusy. Am starting to like this style of beer. Had a tough time tracking it down though. Stored under a different name.
