Tried as "König Ludwig Weissbier Hell"
(50 cl bottle from the ordering section of Systembolaget)
Clear straw yellow color, huge lasting whtie head. Turns shady once the bottom yeast sediment hits the glass. Spicy yeasty and estery banana scent. Malty sweet and estery banana taste. High co2 mouthfeel, low bitterness. Malty and banana afteraste.

Mar 12, 2007 Draught, a dark cloudy orange with a large white rocky chead. Wheat yeast and spice (corriander & cloves) in the aroma. Orange and spice in the flavour. Good.

Mar 7, 2007 Bottle from World Market Beers of the World. Pours a hazy orange color. Sweet yeasty aroams. Quite a bit of bubblegum and a little banana. Somewhat spicy. Flavor is grainy and bitter with some spiciness. Pretty tasty hefe.

Mar 5, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy orange glow hue with an average foamy white head. Pretty regular Hefeweizen, not bad but nothing spectacular. Aroma was citrus, clove, yeast, banana, wheat. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Flavor is light sweet with some bitterness; especially the finish is citrus and light bitter notes.

Mar 3, 2007 Wheaty, lemon aroma. Coudly gold with lite white head. Falours of lemon and applesauce. Farily lite front with citrus finish. Decent example of the style, but not a seesion beer.

Mar 1, 2007 Import from Dusseldorf trip. Apricot-hued weizen heaped with creamy foam. Silky and swimming with bits. Appetising citrussy lemon snout, with a touch of vinous wood. Crisp, slightly sour, slightly boozy wheatiness with a touch of bitterness in the finish. None of the big fruity bubblegum flavours of Paulaner etc. Lovely creamy-wheaty afters.Quality beverage.
