Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

Hazy golden color with a huge white frothy head. Good lacing. Smell is of wheat, citrus (lemon and oranges), banana, peaches, and a fruity sweetness. Taste is just the same with a creamy carbonated mouthfeel. Over all pretty good beer that’s on the sweet end and not a lot of hop bite.

An adequate wheat beer, but not the best I’ve had. Colour was a cloudy and light gold with a substantial foamy head. Aroma was a bit odd for a wheat, but not unpleasant, just not what I was expecting. Mouthfeel and flavour fared somewhat better as the taste was decent, mild and a tiny bit sweet.

.5l bottle, as ’konig ludwig weissbier’. found in mitrovica kosovo of all places. Huge hazy yellow pour with puffy white head. Looks a bit like orange juice. nose of grass, lemon and citrus. Taste is sweet and citrusy (orangeish), full but with a watery finish. Crisp with good carbonation. Not terrible, but it doesn’t stand out.
