Flavor emulates the aroma. Nicely balanced, Softly carbonated. Spotty lacing. mcdav2154 (295), Germany Aug 9, 2009 Updated: Oct 5, 2009Hazy golden color with a huge white frothy head. Good lacing. Smell is of wheat, citrus (lemon and oranges), banana, peaches, and a fruity sweetness. Taste is just the same with a creamy carbonated mouthfeel. Over all pretty good beer that’s on the sweet end and not a lot of hop bite. MrRoss (614), Delta, British Columbia, Canada Aug 8, 2009 An adequate wheat beer, but not the best I’ve had. Colour was a cloudy and light gold with a substantial foamy head. Aroma was a bit odd for a wheat, but not unpleasant, just not what I was expecting. Mouthfeel and flavour fared somewhat better as the taste was decent, mild and a tiny bit sweet. luttonm (275), Belgrade, Serbia Aug 6, 2009 .5l bottle, as ’konig ludwig weissbier’. found in mitrovica kosovo of all places. Huge hazy yellow pour with puffy white head. Looks a bit like orange juice. nose of grass, lemon and citrus. Taste is sweet and citrusy (orangeish), full but with a watery finish. Crisp with good carbonation. Not terrible, but it doesn’t stand out. JK54B (913), Helsinki, Finland Aug 4, 2009 Draught at Kaisla 0.25L glass. Quite mild nose of banana. Pale head.
