Feb 21, 2007 The one I drank was labeled "König Ludwig Weisse". Cloudy yellow with a fruity aroma. Fairly light in flavor and body, with a tangy finish. Pleasant but unremarkable.

Jan 17, 2007 Bottle. Hazy yellow with a nice white puffy head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, citrus and good fruitiness. Nice wheat and yeast flavour along with some malt and citrus, nice hoppiness.

Jan 15, 2007 Pours nice hazy straw gold color, with an inch or more of off-white head. Lots of yeast in the swirl and dump. Head reduces to a blotchy film over time. A little bit of lacing but not a whole lot.
Soft over-ripe banana, clove, and yeast in the initial aroma. The clove scent is subtle but still noticeable throughout the glass. Strong wheat, yeast, and clove flavor - pretty sweet and very nice. Medium body, softly carbonated. Yeast and clove in the aftertaste.

Jan 15, 2007 Updated: Sep 9, 2007bottle - This is a very straightforward hefeweizen. It has a light, yeasty aroma. The flavor is mild. It’s too mild even for the style. While the flavor is decent, there’s certainly nothing offensive here, and it is refreshing, it’s too bland and thin. There are far better hefeweizens around.

Jan 10, 2007 Updated: Feb 24, 2009On tap in Berlin: Nice weissbier, with a more spicy and powerful falvor than much other. The banana and the (burnt) wheat taste is very obvious, and it makes the beer seem less watery than other weissbier at the same time. The aftertaste isn’t marked very powerful with hops, however, we must remember that this is a weissbier, and all in all it suits the beer very well. Not a beer with lacks on any point, but it could be more exiting to drink it...
