| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 9, 2006 Bottle on an ICE. Head is lacy and foamy white, strong carbonation in a cloudy yellow. Aroma is heavy wheat, some yeast, clove, strong citrus, and even coriander, which is a really surprising tone for Kaltenberg. Taste is strongly wheaty, big carbonation, tingly mouthfeel, little else (kinda bland). pivnizub (4999), Bochum, Porúří, Germany
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 30, 2006 Bottle: Hazy, almost cloudy, huge off-white head, slowly diminishing, golden coloured; fresh fruity nose (lemons, summer fruit), bananas+cloves+yeast in the wings; fizzy mouthfeel, a bit sticky, sweetish flavour, quite full bodied; short, sweet-fruity, a bit yeasty-bitter finish. A well rounded, decent Bavarian Weizen without too much edges....... JorisPPattyn (5163), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Stupendously huge, dense yellowish tinted head, not very stable over fully trouble, yellow-greenish beer. Banana-filled nose with a bit of grass or hay. Light spicey touch. Sweet-fruity taste with banana and a whiff of citruspeel. A spicey finish, remindful of nutmeg rather than cloves. Gets more sweet going on, however, becoming more "fade". Wheat/grist slickness, velvety texture. Slightly empty aftertaste. More than decent Weissbier, despite the size of the brewery. Only possible in Germany, I guess. Tasted as König Ludwig Weissbier Hell Thanks, Sebastian GregClow (2495), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2006 Draught at Czehoski. Hazy yellow-gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma and flavour both hold the expected notes of wheat, clove, yeast, and a bit banana. A simple, refreshing example of the style. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2006 I thought this was a very nice wheat beer. Poured a dark cloudy yellow with a small white head. Citrus flavors and spice make up the taste and the finish was refreshing. A good beer. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Wheat and clove aroma, hazy yellow, small white head. Flavour has a good wheat start, banana and soft spicing. Light bodied, easy drinking. Decent. Thanks for the beer(s) Dave Steen. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 13, 2006 Fairly average hefeweizen. Dusty banana aroma with a bit of creaminess. Better on tasting, with some nice bitterness, although it leaves an unfortunate rubbery aftertaste. Too much spritz in the mouth though, making it somewhat gassy. Probably the wrong time of year to be trying this - I’ll give it another run during summer if I remember. hayduke (1629), Eureka, California, USA
