Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

On Tap as Ludwig Weisse: A very good, yet standard/typical hefe. Aroma of bananas, bubble gum, spices. The flavor is more spices than standard, a very nice flavor to it.

Pours pale yellow with a small white head that laces very little. Nose is faint soapy wheat with some banana peel. Flavor is strong banana with a clove overtone. Flavors only indifferently well balanced. Ends with more musty, rather soapy wheat notes. Not bad.

Bottle. Golden muddy colour with a huge creamy white mostly lasting head. Moderate aroma and taste of yeast, fruits and spices. great hefeweizen - and cheap too.

AKA Konig Ludwig. A nice wheat - an almost cakey aroma with a classic wheat taste - a trace of cinnamon. Pretty look with a fluffy head.

Poured into Hacker-Pschorr weisse glass. Big fluffy white head and hazy unfiltered yellow. Has a big banana flavor with a spicey clove finish. I added a lemon wedge for the hell of it. This is a real tasty and refreshing hefeweiss. Not as prominent on the wheat as some Bavarian weisse. Comparable to Hacker-Pschorr.

Mmm! Fruity and citrusy, major bananas. Hazy white-gold with a fizzy white head. Not bad at all.
