Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

Bottle. Has a damp grain aroma. Somewhat cloudy yellow body with thin white head. Flavor was a sour lemon punch at first but sourness disipated and had a decent refreshing finish. Decent beer.

Bottle, nice hazy classic Bavarian Hefeweizen look. A bit over-carbonated, I found that if I poured it high with a big head it lost some of the carbonation and thus tasted much better. Not enough hints of fruit for my taste, I’ll stick with my Paulaner :)

Bottle. White head. Unclear golden body. Banana vanilla aroma. Not as sweet as expected, actually it has some bitterness and a good deal of carbon dioxide.

<Head-to-head comparison of German wheats, with Hacker-Pschorr and Schneider>. Cloudy amber yellow, massive head that collapses rapidly. Compared to the other two wheats, this had almost no characteristic aroma-- mostly wet hair and yeast. Same with the palate-- washed out flavours compared to the other two wheats. Not one I’d return to.

Pours somewhat cloudy with a abruption of head that soon dies out. Aroma is a light with bavarian hops, banana and wheat. Flavor is made of the same thing with a thin soapy body but all in all is easily drunk and enjoyed.

Hazy pale yellow, thick, creamy white head. Fruity, wheaty aroma with notes of yeast, clove and banana. Refreshing, somewhat spicy flavour with hints of ginger, ham and sugar. Medium bodied. Sweet, acidic finish.
