Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

RBESG Sheffield, day 2, Kelham Island Tavern. Tap. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of sweet banana and some yeast. Flavour is sweet, banana, bit of orange. Soft mouthfeel. Nice weizen.

pours sunny gold with a think lasting head. aroma is yeasty and citrusy as expected. flavor is heavy on banana, orange and clove. finishes a little more bitter than expected but still bright and clean. a very good example of the style.

Smells very fruitish, a bit strangely. Nice hazy golden yellow with just a red tinge. Taste is quite muted by the overwhelming palate of thick wheat malt and the difference this plays out in the carbonation forming bubbles on your tounge. Very smooth, just a hint of malt aftertaste.

Slightly cloudy golden color. Huge pillowy, white head, and considerable lacing. Aroma of lemon, fruit, and a little spice. Very smooth, a little sweet, but perfect for summer.
