| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 4, 2005 A typical German Hefeweizen. This was in a brown bottle (which is not typical for many German beers) which may account for the lack of skunkiness. BeerRules (237), Houston, Texas, USA

Aromas of a typical hefe, tropical fruit, gum, dough. Smooth flavor without much going on, besides the typical hefe stuff. Nothing made this stand out, but nothing detracted from it. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 3, 2005 Bottle. Hazy yellow colour. White head. Sharp yeasty aroma with faint hoppy notes. Yeasty flavour. Watery. Boring. Trev (863), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2005 Pours hazy yellow with medium white head that fades. Aroma of cloves, lemon, banana.
Taste is moderate heffe-weisse, fairly smooth, not too sour with a pepper ginger character. Bit bitter in the finish but nothing lasting. Lively with a carbonation hits the tongue and leaves a fizzy mouthfell. FlacoAlto (2473), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 26, 2005 Updated: Aug 28, 2005Pours with a frothy, thick, pale tan colored head that is easily three fingers thick. The beer is a lightly hazy bright gold color with a pretty cascade of carbonation welling up from the center of my Duvel glass. The nose has subdued aromatics of clove and banana as well as a mild, grassy grain character. The taste is light and spritzy with a zesty carbonation as it hits my tongue, though it is a bit on the low side for a Hefeweizen. This beer is quite dry with a bit of bitterness in the finish as well as a long grassy note. This beer is lightly spicy as well with a bit of pepper and ginger on the tongue. This beer is pretty tame for a German Hefeweizen, not nearly as spicy, fruity or phenolic as the best of them, almost in the vein of a bland American Wheat beer, though not quite that bad.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 25, 2005 This beer pours a cloudy very light yellow color with a mild white head and a nice but not overbearing amount of lacing. The aroma is somewhat repulsive with lemon, citrus and barnyardy banana aroma’s being good, and leather, salt and smoky meat aroma’s being bad..... just very very strange. It smelled something like a Lunchable you’d find on a supermarket shelf (it’s one of those smells that never escapes you from when you were a child..it just sort of haunts you for the rest of your life). The flavor is medium bodied and well carbonated. The flavor is once again very salty and lemony with a heavy hot dog flavor.... yes.. i said hot dog flavor, however it gives way to a more subdued lemon/citrus combo as it warmed. Very salty, lemony and oily...impossible to get a grasp on this beer. I don’t exactly know what they were trying to convey, but I now feel dumber for having tried this....
