Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

Slightly hazy with a wisp of a white head and obvious carbonation. Heavy banana aroma with some vanilla. The flavor follows the aroma. The palate is somewhat sharp for a Hefe and the finish is crisp. Decent body.

Cloudy, golden, I’ve had better Hefe’s. Some fruity notes that smell similar to riper apples, Not my mugga beer. Drain pour

Cloudy gold, white head. Aroma of some banana, apple, and some clove. Similar flavor, but more pronounced. Medium creamy body. A decent wheat beer.

Pours an orange cloudy colour with *totally* disappearing white head. Sweet aroma, sweet taste. Not very complex, but very very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a barely hazy gloden yellow body with a big creamy white head. Aroma is yeasty, very muted banana and citrus. Nice wheaty tartness. Very quaffable but nothing like I had hoped, seems almost filtered, lacking much of the yeasty chewiness and flavours I’d expect in a hefe. Nice medium bodyied palate but again it is lacking from what it could be. Very nice beer that unfortunately paled in comparison to my expectations. Thanks for the bottle Joe McPhee.

Draught. Yeasty, fruity aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Big white creamy head. Banana ester flavour. Refreshing citruslike flavour, slightly mouldy.
