Feb 10, 2005 Slightly hazy with a wisp of a white head and obvious carbonation. Heavy banana aroma with some vanilla. The flavor follows the aroma. The palate is somewhat sharp for a Hefe and the finish is crisp. Decent body.

Jan 25, 2005 Bottle. Pours a barely hazy gloden yellow body with a big creamy white head. Aroma is yeasty, very muted banana and citrus. Nice wheaty tartness. Very quaffable but nothing like I had hoped, seems almost filtered, lacking much of the yeasty chewiness and flavours I’d expect in a hefe. Nice medium bodyied palate but again it is lacking from what it could be. Very nice beer that unfortunately paled in comparison to my expectations. Thanks for the bottle Joe McPhee.
