Very much like a true German Wheat should be. And a tad crisp/sharp, which I didn’t care for. Two Brothers Ebel beats it. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 5, 2003 Hazy yellow-orange. Appetizing nose, sweet and yeasty. Nicely carbonated and refreshing. Citrusy, with notes of lemon, orange and banana. Malts are sweet and chewy. Yeasty hints here and there. Very mild bitterness; not quite enough to balance the sweetness. Finish may be a bit too watery, but not too bad. DuffMan (2774), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada

Cloudy amber yellow, massive head that collapses rapidly. Compared to the other two wheats, this had almost no characteristic aroma-- mostly wet hair and yeast. Same with the palate-- washed out flavours compared to the other two wheats. Not one I’d return to. DruncanVeasey (2754), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Import from Dusseldorf trip. Apricot-hued weizen heaped with creamy foam. Silky and swimming with bits. Appetising citrussy lemon snout, with a touch of vinous wood. Crisp, slightly sour, slightly boozy wheatiness with a touch of bitterness in the finish. None of the big fruity bubblegum flavours of Paulaner etc. Lovely creamy-wheaty afters.Quality beverage. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2004 This is quite possibly my new session wheat beer. This is perfectly balanced, with all the delictable flavors I expect, the bananas and the cloves, with some nice acidity and pepper, with some other light fruits balancing out the complexity. A great light summer time beer. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Cloudy orangey gold, with a thin white head. Biscuity, mildly citrusy aroma. Smooth, soft palate. Crisp citrus flavors mix with a mild herbal note. Spicy finsh. Becomes slightly more fruity as it warms.
