Smells lightly of feet, cloves, banana, birthday cake icing and... bruschetta. Hazy, orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Flavour continues banana and wheaty cloves along with some fresh nail polish remover (acetone). Medium body. Not bad, nice blending with a fairly complex texture and flavour, apparently. downender (2601), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

Flavour of more bananas, grain and lemon. A pretty good hefeweizen. ChainGangGuy (2568), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 27, 2009 While at Taco Mac (Perimeter) waiting for the 5 o’clock tapping of a firkin of Duck-Rabbit Porter with Cherries, I thought I’d warm-up with a nice, crisp hefe.
Appearance: Pours out a tremendously cloudy, dull golden-hued body with a smallish, white head. Light lacing on the way down.
Smell: Mild, vaguely sweetness malt nose with touches of grainy wheat bread and lesser, trivial notes of banana and clove.
Taste: Lightly bready, grainy maltiness with some moderate traces of wheat and a medium-low amount of sweetness. Subtle tastes of banana and cloves. Soft, faintly tart touch of yeastiness. Distant, mildly spicy hop character with a light bitterness. Finishes semi-dry with a reasonable amount of carbonated crispness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: A crisp, thirst-quenching, pleasant hefeweizen that makes for decent summertime refreshment or for a good prelude to a cherry-packed porter. 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

Hazy golden amber with fluffy off-white lacing head. Medium body with active carbonation. Starts with good banana ester wheat flavor, bit of citrus tang. Low acidity, but with mild carbonic burn. Light fruity wheaty finish and mild chalky after. Low bitterness overall, and nice estery undertones with some spice. Bockyhorsey (2543), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 14, 2006 Bottle. Has a damp grain aroma. Somewhat cloudy yellow body with thin white head. Flavor was a sour lemon punch at first but sourness disipated and had a decent refreshing finish. Decent beer. pivo (2537), Germany

I had this at a 4.4! This time I got a light aroma with a little butter. The taste was thin and light, not real wheaty, but little banana or cloves either. Not good.
