Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

One of the worst hefeweizens I have every had. Tasted with BMan1113VR. I thought that this one appeared to be filtered. Corney banana ester nose with some peanut butter and yeast. Taste is the same with wheat and short akward finish. Not good. quite a bit better on draft. re rated.

Adherent foam of medium persistence. Color clearly much loads and veiled. Opaque and dense. Incredible crisp detaches one, indeed and much persistent fort. Medium body of good structure.

Light malt nose with touches of cereal and grain. Not much hops and a very soapy smell with some faint fruit. The head is small and frothy but quickly diminishes. Cloudy light yellow orange color. Overall, it is watery and thin with a dry finish. Moderately bitter finish.

Bottle, Dodgy Deli, Oxford. Pale hazy gold, smallish layer of white foam. Pleasant clove accented honey aroma. Gently spritzy yeastiness, clean wholesome bread, just a little tart nip in the finish. Restrained, refreshing, and very good.
