Feb 1, 2004 Pretty lame for a German Weiss. Ever so slightly hazy pale gold appearance. Aroma of nothing much, but for some reason i could smell peanut butter. Peanut butter also came through on the palate, with some slight lemon zest, tiny tiny bit of banana and clove, really lame and thin, Weihenstephaner Kristall had a lot more flavour, and body.

Jun 10, 2005 Pours a hazy golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is slightly more peppery than most hefes and a little less sweet. Body has some good clove and banana yeastiness well balanced with crystal malt and German hops. Very smooth drinking and refreshing, a decent hefeweizen.

Mar 26, 2004 Mainstream weissbier, was a negativ surprice. Not because it is a bad weissbier, but because it was not better.

Jul 23, 2006 Stupendously huge, dense yellowish tinted head, not very stable over fully trouble, yellow-greenish beer. Banana-filled nose with a bit of grass or hay. Light spicey touch. Sweet-fruity taste with banana and a whiff of citruspeel. A spicey finish, remindful of nutmeg rather than cloves. Gets more sweet going on, however, becoming more "fade". Wheat/grist slickness, velvety texture. Slightly empty aftertaste. More than decent Weissbier, despite the size of the brewery. Only possible in Germany, I guess. Jul 30, 2006 Bottle: Hazy, almost cloudy, huge off-white head, slowly diminishing, golden coloured; fresh fruity nose (lemons, summer fruit), bananas+cloves+yeast in the wings; fizzy mouthfeel, a bit sticky, sweetish flavour, quite full bodied; short, sweet-fruity, a bit yeasty-bitter finish. A well rounded, decent Bavarian Weizen without too much edges.......
