Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

One bottle of König Ludwig Weiss from BOTW. Poured a large head. Usual citrus aroma with wheat, hops and yeast. Fullbodied wheat flavor. Decent beer.

Pours a cloudy, yellow color with a white head. Aroma is of lemon, yeast, wheat, and banana. Flavor a little more grainy then I thought it would be. Sweet at first with the lemon, yeast, and banana but finishes grainy along with some spices.

500ml brown bottle. Labeled as Konig Ludwig Weissbier. Pale lemon yellow colour, hazy. Head is huge, white in colour, creamy, thick and long lasting. Light aroma of banana and lemon. Flavour is wheaty, with a strong banana note, some cloves, lemony and yeasty finish. Body is a bit light and thin.

From bottle. Fresh aroma of spice and fruits. Cloudy orange/yellow with a thin white head. Spicy flavour. A little thin. Reminded me of my time in Germany so cant be too bad. Good German Hefeweizen.

Pale yellow-hazy body with a nice foamy head. Aroma is like a classical weizen, some citruses, banana. Smooth mouthfeel with a little acidic banana and some yeast flavour. Refreshing one.
