Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

11.2 ounce bottle in weizen glass. Pours cloudy orange with lasting off-white head. Lots of banana and clove with a little lemon in aroma. Flavors of honey wheat grass banana with a little spiciness. Really very good and refreshing with all the right flavors and no bad ones.

Pours a lite cloudy golden with a whip cream head. Great balance of banana clove aromas. Wonderful lite crisp body with a great refreshing flavor. One of the best hefe’s I’ve had.

Electric yellow, slightly cloudy. It’s really not that cloudy ya’ll for a weissbier. Huge dirty white head. Dirty grain aroma, smells of old orange peel. Watery mouthfeel, but loads of sweet citrus flavor. Fruity, woody finish.

Well, i had a konig ludwig and i guess this is supposed to be the same beer. Anyways, this was surprisingly good. It has a really soft texture, almost creamy. Subtle bananas and spice. A lot better than I was expecting.

500 ml bottle. As König Ludwig Weissbier Hell. From Germany. Pale hazy yellow/orange colour with massive white head. Aroma is fruits (banana/citrus), wheat and yeast. Malty, wheaty flavour with some hints of citrus and banana. Not very sweet, more like dry but slightly watery and thin.

Hazy, pale yellow. I could taste a bit yeast and some hints of banana, but the body was pretty watery, so there wasn´t much to taste. There are many better Weizens out there.
