Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

This beer pours a cloudy very light yellow color with a mild white head and a nice but not overbearing amount of lacing. The aroma is somewhat repulsive with lemon, citrus and barnyardy banana aroma’s being good, and leather, salt and smoky meat aroma’s being bad..... just very very strange. It smelled something like a Lunchable you’d find on a supermarket shelf (it’s one of those smells that never escapes you from when you were a child..it just sort of haunts you for the rest of your life). The flavor is medium bodied and well carbonated. The flavor is once again very salty and lemony with a heavy hot dog flavor.... yes.. i said hot dog flavor, however it gives way to a more subdued lemon/citrus combo as it warmed. Very salty, lemony and oily...impossible to get a grasp on this beer. I don’t exactly know what they were trying to convey, but I now feel dumber for having tried this....

Had this in a bottle as Konig Ludwig Weissbier. Poured to a hazy lemon-yellow with a tint of orange, and a nice medium head that lingered long and left good lacing. Nose was a very pleasant and strong mix of ornages, cookie dough and clove, and the mouthfeel full and tingly. Flavor was a mild hop, again predominantly cookie dough, clove and orange, with just a hint of bubblegum at mid-glass. A very pleasant and tasty beer with a long satisfying finish. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Pale gold, good white head, lightly spicy nose with some nice fruity notes as well, quite light in body, but has a good full flavour...spice and fruit...and some malt which lingers on the finish...good stuff.

typically sweet aroma on a cloudy unfiltered yellow body with a foamy white head. citrusy backbone with spices on the front and a cinnamon tasting tail. thought the body was a little thin, but the beer was very crisp on the palate and highly drinkable.

I really enjoyed this beer. Maybe because it’s finally getting warm. Had the typical look and aroma you’d expect. Flavor was light and tasty. Licorice, banana, clove. Good stuff.

A lovely wheat with a medium orange (cloudy) color and large, fluffy white head. A very nice aroma accompanies. Taste is lightly sweet and quite nice.

Syrupy, tastes a bit like 7-Up in palate. But somewhat delicious. Light, light gold color. Not too great. Would prefer another Hefe-Weiss.
