The aroma is of wheat, banana, clove. The flavor is mild with a spice, clove, taste. The finish is kinda dry but pleasant. Not bad at all, would drink again. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 18, 2006 Hazy pale yellow, thick, creamy white head. Fruity, wheaty aroma with notes of yeast, clove and banana. Refreshing, somewhat spicy flavour with hints of ginger, ham and sugar. Medium bodied. Sweet, acidic finish. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 4, 2005 A typical German Hefeweizen. This was in a brown bottle (which is not typical for many German beers) which may account for the lack of skunkiness. Linc (736), Sydney, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 22, 2004 A run of the mill weiss. Cloves and vinegar aroma, salty taste with a rather watered-down palate for the style. coldbrewky (736), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 25, 2008 A surprise 6 pack at the rip and run. Nose of gentle grain and hop must be puled from both the bottle and tall glass. A semi-cloudy yellow with a dense white head that settles to film. Body is medium minus. Legs are droopy and merge back to head fast. Sweet Rounded malts gently greet the palate. Undertones of hops shrouded in malts calmly proceed for finish. In short this is one fantastic wheat beer. The nose could be a bit stronger but the reserve of it is also quite appealing. fidelis83 (729), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 4, 2009 12oz. bottle labeled Konig Ludwig Weissbier. Pours very murky pale gold with a 1-2 finger creamy white head that has good retention. Aroma is lots of raw yeast, lemon, sweet grain, yeasty dough, a decent amount of spice, just a hint of bubble gum, banana nut bread, a little vanilla and some orange blossom. Flavor is lots of sweet grain, sweet floral, sweet wheat, lemon poppyseed bread, hints of pepper, and some orange. Finish is yeast and citrus. Palate is thin and slightly syrupy with a carbonation a little too low for its massively sweet flavor. Overall this stuff was just too sweet with little to balance it out. madquacker (722), Canberra ACT, Australia

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 18, 2004 Updated: Mar 20, 2005 This is a good beer because it has banana and wheat combined in the taste. Also it is sweet but not too sweet. The percentile is too low I think it should be higher then that. The aftertaste is pleasant. The aroma is the only thing that didn’t cut it for me. Good stuff.
