Tastes almost like a light spiced rum, with some syrup in the finish. Minimal carbonation, just kind of a "gluggy" pour. This isn’t as refreshing as it should be - given the style. nigos (620), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Jun 3, 2009 This looks like your typical Hefe cloudy golden honey body with a quarter inch of thick creamy head nothing to special about it. The smell how ever is killer, chalky banana accented with lemon no scratch that its jolly rancher sour pineapple, its even the perfect strength not weak and not over powering, great smell I just keep sniffing it I can’t get enough. Dammit!!! beer taste like crap, very very watery feel to it and not smooth like a hefe should be. Very week wheat malt flavor and the banana clove dosn’t really show up until the after taste. None of the fantastic smell was carried forward into the taste how is that even possible, there is a pool water flavor to this beer, bleach maybe?!?!?!? what ever it is its killing the malt flavor. Very disappointing hefe, one of the worst I’v ever had, not the worst but very close to it, and yet this is still drinkable. MrRoss (617), Delta, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 8, 2009 An adequate wheat beer, but not the best I’ve had. Colour was a cloudy and light gold with a substantial foamy head. Aroma was a bit odd for a wheat, but not unpleasant, just not what I was expecting. Mouthfeel and flavour fared somewhat better as the taste was decent, mild and a tiny bit sweet. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA

Expiration on back of bottle says 29 APR 2008. Sweet. German beer to the rescue please! One odd note, the bottle is embossed with "Warsteiner Premium Qualitat aus Deutschland". Pours a cloudy gold color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast and malt. Taste is all about the hefeweizen, a touch of wheat and banana like qualities. Nice beer. tlind2 (604), Helsinki, Finland

Lightly spicy, sweet aroma. Well-balanced sweet wheat flavor with some citric notes, only a touch of banana and a sweet finish. Medium-high carbonation. Pretty good hefeweizen. jskendzel (602), Washington DC, USA
