Clean finish with pleasant aftertaste. I would call this a very good representation of the style. Nate (2562), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2004 Some banana clove aroma, sweet, atop mild wheat grainy smell. Mild skunkiness. Hazy golden amber with fluffy off-white lacing head. Medium body with active carbonation. Starts with good banana ester wheat flavor, bit of citrus tang. Low acidity, but with mild carbonic burn. Light fruity wheaty finish and mild chalky after. Low bitterness overall, and nice estery undertones with some spice. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 8, 2006 Draught, served with a slice of lemon. Fresh banana aroma. Cloudy, orange. Large, white head that quickly erodes, perhaps from the acidity of the lemon. Very solid and flavorful, but also has a very carbonated mouthfeel. Pretty good weissbier. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2003 Yellow/brown haze, textbook weiss; aroma is slightly sour and citric, slight banana ester. Taste is mildly tart and quenching, lemony, about the body I'd expect, and the phenols aren't too severe Not the most characterful weiss out there, but for my market, one of the best I can get. tlind2 (605), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Draught @ Kaisla, Helsinki. Cloudy yellow color, lasting white head. Lightly spicy, sweet aroma. Well-balanced sweet wheat flavor with some citric notes, only a touch of banana and a sweet finish. Medium-high carbonation. Pretty good hefeweizen. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2008 This wheat had the typical banana/clove aroma but also had a citrus smell that very nice. The color looked as a wheat beer should but the body was thin when drank. Not a bad wheat but not the best. TerenceHua (87), , Singapore
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Updated: Mar 7, 2009Hazy cloudy pale yellow with a nice foamy head. Predominant banana, vanilla and wheat aromas. Uncomplicated taste largely mirroring its aromas. Wheat flavour is highly discernable on the tounge. Seems to be some other grain elements - can’t put my finger to it though. A smooth drink with a sweet roundup. Pleasant on the palate. Lop hops bitterness. Highly drinkable despite its stoic medium body and, I find it refreshing. Value for money. A brew with simple trustworthy character. The quality (not quantity) of carbonation could be improved though. A little less yeast please?
