Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

A very light peach color with a moderate head for a weeise that holds up throughout the quaff. Maderate malt a dn sweet wheat aroma and flavor. A decent weiss whitout a lot of complexity. Straight forward malt flavors without either the the cloves or banana. Satisfying, yet still seems to be missing the true yeast characteristics.

I had the Konig Ludwig version at an Irish Pub. Hazzy yellow in color with a very thin head, aroma of bananas and lemons. Very sweet banana flavor with a little spice and bubble gum.

Nice, cloudy golden appearance as in all hefe-weizens ... delicate, yeasty/bready aroma, with hints of fruit ... has the standard liquid bread flavor of hefes ... a little light in body, but very smooth, and nice on the palate. ... Would drink it again without hesitation. Good stuff.

A wheaty aroma smacks you in the nose, and the taste is refreshing with citrusy spice notes. Very much like a true German Wheat should be. And a tad crisp/sharp, which I didn’t care for. Two Brothers Ebel beats it.

Pale orange beer with a good long lasting head. The aroma is mainly citric and lacking in diversity, and the flavour is generally one dimensional (watery, weak citrus flavour). A good beer but lacks the character of better wheat beers.

Great beer! Smooth wheat with almost a hint of lemon or other fruit in it. Classic cloudy blond. Very refreshing as most great wheats are. Would recommend to anyone.
