| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 9, 2008 On tap at Castle on KIng in September. Looks as good as a beer can - bright glowing hazy yellow, big long lasting white head. Aroma is stuffed full on bananas and clove with some yeast. Wow, what a good start! Taste is very good - after the standard and expected yeast and clove it has a really neat grainy/dry finish and that makes you want another sip immediately. Maybe not as carbonated as, say, the local - and highest rated for the style - Dennisons Weissbier, and this, not as refreshing, but equal to that beer is just about every other way. What a wonderful surprise to find on tap out here. roacheater (36), USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 5, 2004 I had this brew labelled as "Konig Ludwig 'Weiss'," and it was exceptional. Aroma is very malty for a wheat beer. I drink it from a belgium snifter glass. I drink it with my left hand. I drink it when it's cold outside. I drink it when I want an awesome brew. Mild banana and yeasty aroma. Thin head, dissipated quickly. Excellent flavor; sweet, with banana and yeast. Lots of carbonation. One of my favorites. 4nolanz (18), South Carolina, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 21, 2007 bottle(as Konig Ludwig). I liked this from first sip, and really loved the flavor left in the mouth after drinking. It poured a thicker head than many weiss I have had and thought the mix of spice, wheat, and fruit was excellent. TheBeerBaron (219), Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Apr 8, 2007 Bottle. Labeled in Florida as Konig Ludwig Wiess. Cloudy gold color, small white head with carbonation. Pleasant wheat aroma with citris and butterscotch. Light and juicy palate, tastes good on the tongue. Flavorful, thirst quencing and slightly sweet. You can certainly taste lemon. Excellent finish, no bitterness at all. Another German masterpiece, will make you cheer.
