Commercial Description:
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

I had the Konig Ludwig version at an Irish Pub. Hazzy yellow in color with a very thin head, aroma of bananas and lemons. Very sweet banana flavor with a little spice and bubble gum.

Little to no complexity, which is refreshing from time to time. Apple-like and medium-bodied. Hint of banana.

Slightly cloudy golden color. Huge pillowy, white head, and considerable lacing. Aroma of lemon, fruit, and a little spice. Very smooth, a little sweet, but perfect for summer.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, 12 P
Appearance: Pours surprisingly with smaller head than ’Konig Ludwig Dunkelweizen’, head is initially moderate, snowy white, rocky - frothy, quite irregular in structure, slowly decreasing to small froth floating on the body surface, carbonation of the body is lively, lacing is decent.
Aroma: Very nice, pronounced, mature aroma of wheat, yeast, barley malt, juicyness, notes of banana, carrot, aroma is very strong and not typically, very intensive, clover, accidity, flowery hops, sweet oriented&aromatic.
Flavour: Very nice, full taste, grains of barley malt and wheat, clover, banana, slight saltyness on palate, daugh, floral gentle hoppyness, gentle carbonation on palate, bready, finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is smooth, wattery to creamy, carbonation on palate is moderate to lively, finish feel is slightly chalky and moderate astringent.

The first time I had one, I was blitzed, so I didn’t trust my initial reaction. But after trying a second, I was right: it smells vaguely like popcorn, and it tastes vaguely like butter. Nice and light, the same gross cloudy appearance of most weissbiers. Really nice; I’ll try some more when summer comes around. Or on movie night.

Very golden in color. Aroma of grain and yeast. Initial taste is sweet. Flavors of yeast, corn, wheat. Very smooth finish with a short aftertaste. A very good beer for warm weather.

Super cloudy brown-gold body, a fluffy white head discolored a little. Yeasty cinammon and cloves on the nose. Medium body. Spice cake with banana undertone and a light milky-sugary wheat at the end that fades fast.
