Bottle brown, 500 ml, 12 P
Appearance: Pours surprisingly with smaller head than ’Konig Ludwig Dunkelweizen’, head is initially moderate, snowy white, rocky - frothy, quite irregular in structure, slowly decreasing to small froth floating on the body surface, carbonation of the body is lively, lacing is decent.
Aroma: Very nice, pronounced, mature aroma of wheat, yeast, barley malt, juicyness, notes of banana, carrot, aroma is very strong and not typically, very intensive, clover, accidity, flowery hops, sweet oriented&aromatic.
Flavour: Very nice, full taste, grains of barley malt and wheat, clover, banana, slight saltyness on palate, daugh, floral gentle hoppyness, gentle carbonation on palate, bready, finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is smooth, wattery to creamy, carbonation on palate is moderate to lively, finish feel is slightly chalky and moderate astringent. FarFromHome (84), Philadelphia, Alabama, USA

But after trying a second, I was right: it smells vaguely like popcorn, and it tastes vaguely like butter. Nice and light, the same gross cloudy appearance of most weissbiers. Really nice; I’ll try some more when summer comes around. Or on movie night. rader58 (194), Leawood, Kansas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Super cloudy brown-gold body, a fluffy white head discolored a little. Yeasty cinammon and cloves on the nose. Medium body. Spice cake with banana undertone and a light milky-sugary wheat at the end that fades fast.
