Oct 21, 2004 König Ludwig Weiss is what I drank and that’s what’s available in my area. I don’t understand this name bit. Be that as it may, not a bad hefeweizen. Cloudy yellow with a frothy white head, it has a mild banana and spice aroma. Good tasting with touches of other fruits. Very clean, refreshing finish.

Jun 2, 2005 (Labeled as Konig Ludwig Weiss) Pours cloudy goldwen ornge with a white foamy head. The flavors of banana and clove came through strongly in this one. Overall a great Hefe.

Apr 17, 2005 typically sweet aroma on a cloudy unfiltered yellow body with a foamy white head. citrusy backbone with spices on the front and a cinnamon tasting tail. thought the body was a little thin, but the beer was very crisp on the palate and highly drinkable.

Jan 9, 2006 Had this one in a bottle labeled "Konig Ludwig Weiss". The aroma is a good example of what this style of beer should smell like. It has malt, cloves, bananas, and sour kraut. The appearance is a cloudy and gold with a nice foamy head. The flavor is mildly spicy, and citrus like, while maintaining a good amount of malt and bitterness. The palate is soft and perfectly carbonated. It also has a sourness that gets you in the finish. This one is good.

Sep 20, 2005 Bottle, 50cl. Pours a cloudy and pale yellow liquid, with a nice white foam, rapidly diminishing. Aroma is moderately malty with notes of citrus and some other fruits, probably apple or something.... Aroma is again fruity. Very refreshing and drinkable, not the best weiss that i’ve had but neverthelesss a good one.

Oct 14, 2009 bottled under König Ludwig Weissbier label. Color is murky orange, enormous white head lacing. Fruity and yeasty nose. which comes back in aroma and flavour. vy nicely composed hefe. I dunno why they play around with the labels.

Jun 17, 2007 on tap, very nice german hefe, good cloudy golen color, great aroma of banana, and yeast, nice balance in the sweet, and bitter, good stuff.
