Tons of citrus aroma with some banana and coriander. Clearer apperance than I like for a wheat. Good flavor, sweet with citrus. shrubber85 (3014), Wallhalben, Germany

Yellow tan color - slightly cloudy with ample, lasting head. Slightly tart malt flavor - subtle banana/clove- not much sweetness. Nice full body. A nice Weizen more on the malt side. Cloudy gold color, small white head with carbonation. Pleasant wheat aroma with citris and butterscotch. Light and juicy palate, tastes good on the tongue. Flavorful, thirst quencing and slightly sweet. You can certainly taste lemon. Excellent finish, no bitterness at all. Another German masterpiece, will make you cheer. In short it looks, smells and feels like a Hefeweizen should. The flavor is a little mild but has the traditional combination of sweet, sour and bitter. DasGrau (18), Topeka, Kansas, USA

It smells banana like a typical hefeweizen and it is one of my favorites. I guess this is the same stuff as Konig Ludwig. Nice and cloudy. Very refreshing. Bov (5514), Bienne, Switzerland

Amber cloudy gold with a nice large white head that laces the glass quite fairly. Lovely hints of clove, nutmeg and bananas. Yielding yet a nice touch of cookie dough maybe even some cinnamon and allspice aspects. Nice lasting flavor that sings on and gives an ovation that asks for an encore. Very refreshing and pleasant to the buds. In an honest opinion in which we all know where those come from and every one has one. Prinzregent Luitpold is the grandson with all due respect. The brew is an original from the King Ludwig III. Granted that the brews born namenclature should only be König Ludwig Weiss. Sorry I pissed on the name but by right there should be correction. Regardless of dist. and export. If theres any beef e-mail it. Born date on my bottle is 10may03 05:45 Bottle title is König Ludwig Weiss.
Brewed by König Ludwig Schlossbrauerei Kaltenberg, Baveria, Germany. So by right the alias name Prinzregent Luitpold Weissbier Hell should be null. Also please forgive I'm posting forum here. Thanks and god bless us all.

This beer was excellent with a yeast, wheat, sweet flavor without that typical old wheat aftertaste. Could have drinken all day long. Great with or without a meal.
