The aroma is peppery with clove notes and only a touch of banana fruitiness but I’d say it’s more spicy than anything. Soapy mouthfeel and there are flavours of bubblegum. Spicy notes are prevalent here again along with some lemon tartness in the finish. Pretty decent overall.

The beer was just like every german wheat, hazy pale yellow with a very dense pale white colour. The aroma was subdued, not too much to it. A few floral notes, and the typical yeastie smell. The taste was mild but pretty good. Defiately easy on the palate with no complex flavours to deal with. A great all-around german wheat which should be tasted if you can find it. Got somewhat cloudy towards the bottom of the glass. Definitely not uni-dimensional, like so many wheats are. Perfect carbonation. microdyke (360), Portland, Oregon, USA

The aroma is of banana and wheats. The flavor of bananas has some bitterness and lots of wheaty aftertaste. jmm1 (109), Andorra
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2004 Bright Yellow color, with a bubbly head that disappears quite fast. Yeasty aroma, with undertones of spice and banana. Taste slightly sour, with some bitter hops at the end. Nice palate, with a mild carbonation that is fresh but keeps the flavor well. A refreshing average weizen. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA

Heavy banana aroma with some vanilla. The flavor follows the aroma. The palate is somewhat sharp for a Hefe and the finish is crisp. Decent body. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2008 This was a pretty good hef. Nice banana and clove on the nose, with a sweet honey aroma as well. Color was hazy golden. Flavor was sweeter, with some citrus, banana and clove. Finish was a bit drying, which cut the flavor, but still a nice beer. Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico
