| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2009 The colour was nice and clean until I swirled and dropped an A bomb of sediment into my glass. Great retention with the creamy white crown and some nice sticky lacing. The aroma was very bananaish the second I pried off the cap. Now it’s more ripe bananas, spice, yeast, bit of lemon and something that reminds me of a bag of flour. The lemon has more legs than you might expect. The taste is quite fresh but this does not taste as good as it did when I first cracked it (it’s still good though). A bit watery but the yeasty spice (clove) comes through first followed by light banana. There’s something at the very back of the sip that reminds me of chocolate but isn’t...actually, it’s more at the very end of the aftertaste. Seems a bit on the thin side but overall feels nice. Good carbonation that is just enough to give it a bit of zest. Soft mouthfeel. A decent beer, a nice mild version. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 4, 2008 Pours a slight hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Weak aroma of yeast and citrus, with some banana and grain. Slightly watery palate. Not the best Hefe, but nice and refreshing. GMan71 (23), Lower Mitcham, Australia
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Bottled under name Konig Ludwig Weiss. Slightly disappointed considering I have in the past enjoyed their dunkel. Weakish flavour compared to some others of the style. Just passed the best before date - may be a reason. graham515 (430), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2007 Pours a nice yellow gold into the glass with a relatively small white head. The aroma is consistent with most hefeweizen’s with real nice spiciness to it. The flavor is very clean and very safe. What I mean by that is that it may have lost some of its intended punch on the long trip from Germany to the US. Even so, this is a really nice hefe. FatPhil (3481), Espoo, Finland

Classic Hefeweizen appearance, but a bit thin on the head. Gentle citrus/corriander aroma. Taste is oh-so-sweet, banana and caramel. mmmbeer (762), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2008 11.2 oz bottle (labeled Konig ludwig weissbier) poured into weizen glass- poured transparent golden yellow, medium semi-live carbonation, white head bubbled away quickly, aroma of yeast with light undertones of clove and bananas. Hits the mouth with a thin body, a touch of bitterness at the start, middle is full of wheat and banana, finish is a little watery and drops off sharply.
