Mar 4, 2008 Pours a slight hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Weak aroma of yeast and citrus, with some banana and grain. Slightly watery palate. Not the best Hefe, but nice and refreshing.

Nov 15, 2006 Bottled under name Konig Ludwig Weiss. Slightly disappointed considering I have in the past enjoyed their dunkel. Weakish flavour compared to some others of the style. Just passed the best before date - may be a reason.

Jun 21, 2007 Pours a nice yellow gold into the glass with a relatively small white head. The aroma is consistent with most hefeweizen’s with real nice spiciness to it. The flavor is very clean and very safe. What I mean by that is that it may have lost some of its intended punch on the long trip from Germany to the US. Even so, this is a really nice hefe.

Aug 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow-brown. Good lasting head. Smells like a hefe. Tastes like a hefe, but with a much stronger banana taste. Very good summer beer.

Mar 14, 2003 Nice looking beer. Big rocky head with lots of fizz. Body was murky without a lot of yeast in there. Yellowy ornage colour. Lots of yeast in the aroma, with some citrusy notes. Also mild clove and maybe nutmeg. Flavour was not impressive though. Didn't really do much for me. Beer was light to medium in body, without much of a finish.

Mar 7, 2007 Bottle from World Market Beers of the World. Pours a hazy orange color. Sweet yeasty aroams. Quite a bit of bubblegum and a little banana. Somewhat spicy. Flavor is grainy and bitter with some spiciness. Pretty tasty hefe.
