This is a very nice looking beer when poured..deep golden straw coloured beer..that is quite attractivly hazy..with a large pure white frothy head, it shrank but vestiges remained until the beer was finished.
Mmmmm very nice strong German hefe aromas..quite fruity ,loads of banana aroma..and the sourness of the wheat can be detected.
Wow this is a very easy drinking beer..but it is loaded with flavour..bananas, spice, fresh wheat..and a nice mild aftertatse.
Very comfortable on the tongue.
An exceptionally drinkable weissbier..and at a good price excellent beer..I recommend this! Zoob (84), Bakersfield, California, USA

Palate = medium lt. Good carbonation. A well balanced weissbeir! yeast does not over drive this beer.
I would buy it again.

It looks like it would be a world class beer, let’s find out. Pours great with an immense white head, sticks around for a long time. The smell is of citrus and banana, the banana redolence overpowers the citrus. Fantastic mouthfeel for a weisse, not too bubbly, nice and balanced. Flavor is great, perhaps a little on the weak side, still a decent beer. Good stuff. apost8n8 (123), Oklahoma, USA

Great Hef!
lightly cloudy golden with little white head. No lacing. Nice fruity aroma but powerfully citrus like many hefs. Maybe banana with a little spice. I’ll look for more. GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland

Ill always have fond memories of this beer, its what got me into craft beers :) kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA

Poured to a hazy lemon-yellow with a tint of orange, and a nice medium head that lingered long and left good lacing. Nose was a very pleasant and strong mix of ornages, cookie dough and clove, and the mouthfeel full and tingly. Flavor was a mild hop, again predominantly cookie dough, clove and orange, with just a hint of bubblegum at mid-glass.
A very pleasant and tasty beer with a long satisfying finish. Perfect for a hot summer day. Berley31 (198), New Brunswick, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 13, 2009 A: Large, white, frothy head... this baby hung around for a bit, and then dissipated to about 1/2-finger for the rest of drinking. Body is a nice, dark-yellow color, and very cloudy.
S: Nice notes of wheat, lemon, and pepper.
T: Damned nice hefe... large taste of pepper and other spices, with a wheaty, citrusy finish. Short-average duration... just like a good hefe should taste.
M: Light-bodied, yet creamy, with soft-average carbonation.
D: This beer goes down great, and is a perfect session brew at 5.5%... actually, it taste even less than that. Nothing really there to make it super special, but it’s still very good and I could drink ’em all day.
