imdownthepub (3937), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England May 10, 2008 Updated: May 31, 2008 Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Hazed gold with no head. Unfortunately not settled, a really farmy sulphery aroma, I had to swish it round for quite a while to disperse it. Thinnish dry mouth, flowery hop. Hopefully I’ll get to re rate it.
Re Rate, May 08. Gold with white head. Hoppy light beer, sessionable with good dry bitter finish. Much better.
Fukito (590), Buenos Aires, Argentina Nov 23, 2007 Cast at The Wenlock, october 07. Hoppy, pineyaroma with some spicyness. Nice, herbal, hoppy flavor. A bit soapy at the end though. Nice, shinny, brilliant golden color with a small white head. Light to medium mouthfeel, light and drinkable. Nice, modest but ok golden bitter. Mes_and_Sim (3927), London, Greater London, England Oct 28, 2007 A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock Clean gold with a thin white head. Dusty and hoppy with some slight tobacco and sulphur. Dry bitter finish. Run of the mill but nice enough.
