Wet wheat and white sugar nose, some floral notes. Very slight haze, golden orange, medium head. Fluffy fresh cotton candy with mild bitterness, sophisticated balance. Good medium to large carbonation, medium body, sweet but non-cloying smooth finish. This could be one of the best American wheat beers in existence, well made all around, an absolute joy.

Can. Cloudy light gold body. Short white head, lasting. Light aroma has notes of grain, cereal and dough. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Just OK. Not much going on in this beer.

Can poured a clear golden amber with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of wheat, bread dough and light fruittiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, fruittiness and light yeast with a crisp lightly sweet finish.

Draft. Pours a thickish head, with some lacing over a slightly cloudy body....nose is slight sweet malt, citrus, primarily lemon....tastes of light spice....mouth feel very light. This seems overall a little light even for a wheat. 11/22/2008

Draught. Pours clear dark yellow with an average, fizzy, white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (straw, cereal, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough) with notes of grapes. Light bodied, gritty texture, lively carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Draft, poured a very light, hazy golden color with a fair amount of head and a lot of carbonation. The smell wasn’t very prominent, just some wheat, yeast and lemon. Mouthfeel was carbonated and watery, tastes heavily of wheat, lemon and some underlying notes that are too bland to really figure out. Being touted as a winner at the Great American Beer Festival, I wasn’t impressed. It wasn’t a bad brew, but rather boring overall.
