omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 2, 2007 Bottled. Amber colour, small head. Buttery nose. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. As there are no hops the buttery malt dominates. Clean flavour profile. No bitterness. oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Jul 4, 2007 Bottled. Amber colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel, diacetyl, sweet malts and some toffee. Flavour is sweet malts, slight fruits and some slight hints of metal. TBone (5116), Pori, Finland Jul 1, 2007 Bottled (BB 11/2007)
Clear amber color, small off-white head. Grassy, diacetylic aroma. Acidic, grassy hoppy, mildly diacetylic - very typical unclean Puls brewery flavors here. Not totally hopeless, but not really Märzen either. bierkoning (4932), La Tropica, Netherlands May 14, 2008 Bottle from TBone, thanks! Dark brown color. Caramel in the aroma. Caramelly sweetish, even a bit malty flavor with bready notes. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Slight farmhouse character. Not bad. JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Aug 25, 2008 Fluffy, good head over Coca-Cola coloured beer. Very roasted, burnt nose, chocolatey (milk-), sweetsmelling.
Sweet, very nutty flavour (hazel-), roasted malts. Light to medium bodied. Just a tad too sweet, but I suppose it must be heaven to find such thing at the southeast end of the Baltic. Wow, thanks, Stefaan!
