bierkoning (4574), La Tropica, Netherlands May 13, 2008 Bottle from TBone, thanks! Pale golden color, foamy head. Creamy, grassy citric aroma. Grassy, citric flavor with vanilla pudding. fairly thin but surprisingly tasty. Some butter in the aftertaste.
tlind2 (143), Helsinki, Finland Apr 18, 2008 Draught@Poirotti, Helsinki. Clean yellow color, slight head. Crisp, complex aroma. The taste is unsurprising, with little in the hop or malt department. Drinkable, but nothing special. FatPhil (1853), Espoo, Finland Mar 18, 2008 500ml bottle (Rimi, Tallinn)
Pale yellow, tiny head. Some kind of lagery aroma, slightly dodgy hops, later something a little like honey appears. Taste pretty thin, some metallic hops, and something a bit buttery. None of the malty body that Puls are capable of putting in their beers, though a hint of sweetness (but not the honey in the aroma). Not actually nasty, but there are some artificial unpleasant tastes. raymondwave (740), Finland Jan 21, 2008 Tap at Kallion Poirotti, Helsinki. Clear pilsner color, not much head. Nose is pretty funky, lot’s of butter and honey with a bit of rotting hay. Flavor has mostly just butter and grease. Slightly on the sour side. This is one of those beers where it’s a bit difficult to say if it’s big on (saaz?) hops, or just gone funky. I’ve had too many faulty beers lately and I decided not to question it’s goodness from barkeeper. Mouthfeel was extremely oily and felt like it left a layer of butter on palate. SaintMatty (306), Tallinn, Estonia Nov 5, 2007 50cl Bottle- The colour is just like a typical pilsner. A fresh, grassy aroma. Clean tasting beer with just a slight hint of citrus but overall not much flavour. Disappointing.
