hand bottle from jon. big dark black pour with no head. mild roastiness in the aroma. Taste starts off nicely with big roasty malt flavor that unfortunately turns into a harsh aciditic taste. Notes of coffee, light anise. Possibly infected. thanks jon

Hand bottled by brewer Greg Nash for Jon, who generously gave me a bottle. Pours black, with little head. The aroma, the taste, the beer is good strong coffee, and some beer, a little chocolate. We drank it, but it is a fine coffee that integrated some beer. The ingrediants of the style are there, in the secondary. Average or less mouthfeel, which is not a strength against this style’s competition.

hand bottled and given to me by Greg Nash. beer is nice and dark brown almost black, nice thick brownish foam but only when poured vigorisly nose is sweet and strong, dark malts and choc, maybe a touch of booze. flavor is all Chocolate and maybe a little coffee with some smoke in there too. sweet and hides the alcohol well, any beer thats 10% and this smooth is dangerous.
