Tap at the brewpub - listed as "Pumpkin Gaarden Belgian-Style Pumpkin Ale" - this is basically a witbier with pumpkin pie spices - it is very tart and lemony up front, which doesn’t work too well with what follows, ie. your standard pumpkin ale spice mixture - in fact, it’s a bit palate-confusing - after this, some wit-style graininess/wheaty character, but the pumpkin and spices linger, continuing to confuse the palate - you’d figure I would adjust, but I did not - downright weird, and not in a good way.

On tap at Ironworks poured a hazy golden yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, light spice, light fruittiness and a hint of pumpkin. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, spice and light pumpkin with a crisp spiced finish.
